Hampton Commons Pool and ClubhouseUse of the Hampton Commons pool and clubhouse is subject to the Rules and Regulations of the community. Hampton Commons Pool Hours
Lifeguard Shortage! Due to a statewide shortage of available lifeguards, the pool was not open during the early hours of the day on Labor Day weekend.
Hampton Commons PoolThe pool is usually open during the summer, beginning Memorial Day weekend and ending on Labor Day. Weekend pool hours are usually from 10 AM to 8 PM, beginning Memorial Day weekend. Weekday hours are usually from 11 AM to 8 PM, beginning at the end of the school year. The pool will be closed during inclement weather or when there is a threat of thunderstorms. Additionally, either the large pool or the baby pool may be closed if it is found to be in need of repair or if testing reveals the water is in need of chemical treatment inconsistent with allowing swimming. The State of New Jersey requires all diapered children to wear "plastic pants with snug fitting elastic waist and leg bands." The swimming pool water is tested weekly and if the water fails for e-coli the pool must be closed, treated and re-tested. If the pool fails for a second time then the health department will close the pool to swimming until a successful water test is completed. The pool would be closed for a minimum of 4 to 6 days while this process takes place. Please give the lifeguards your co-operation when reminded about plastic pants for diapered children. We want everyone to enjoy the pool facility and have a safe and uninterrupted season. Hampton Commons ClubhouseTo use the clubhouse, a member must complete a request form and submit it to the board at least a month prior to the reservation date, so the request may be reviewed by the board at a regular meeting. To request a form and to find out when the clubhouse is available, please contact the management company. Before and after the reserved time, the member and a volunteer resident will conduct a walk-through of the clubhouse to determine its condition. A $20 non-refundable payment is required to cover the cost of the walk-through. The clubhouse must be left clean and undamaged, in the same condition (or better) as before its use. A $200 cash-or-check deposit is required to be submitted with the request application form. If there is no change in the condition of the clubhouse during its use, the deposit will be refunded. The member reserving the clubhouse is financially responsible for any cleaning or damage repair needed to restore the clubhouse to its condition before use.
